Fall Forest PhotoShoot

Join Us as we journey through this small forest right off the bike trail, located in the heart of Houston to capture some amazing photographs. (Physical location will be provided the week of the event). Excellent opportunity to take some unique looking photos, expand your portfolio for some and just have fun with friends.

This is going to be a fun and educational event. We are going to be spliting up into small groups so that we get to see different photographers go about setting up for a shot, directing, and capturing images.

Models/participants this will be a great opportunity to for you to meet and network with other photographers. We are all out here to have a good, adventurous time and hopefully make connections with creatives for future shoots.

The G.A.T.E. Photography owner Darius Wiggins (@the22gate) will be helping photographers understand lighting whether its off-camera flash or natural light. This is also a perfect opportunity for photographers who need help understanding their cameras and shooting on manual. For models, you all will be gifted with some beautiful photographs to help grow your portfolio.

Event Rules:

• Photographers- For you safety we suggest you to not leave ANY of your equipment in your car. This is going to be at a public place and we don't want to have any mishaps with theft. If you are going to be bringing some off-camera flashes we encourage you to only bring ONE light. There are tons of trails/wildlife and we want you to be cautious of spiders, snakes, and other things that can bring harm to a model.
• Models - There are two different kinds of styles we would like to capture. The first one being inspired by a Tarzan & Jane theme. Something that matches the look of a jungle/forest. The second one is more of a high fashion look like an elegant dress. Please remember that it will be HOT so most importantly wear something breathable and comfortable.
